Great Pond Residence

Project overview

We meticulously designed this shingle-style home exceeding 6,000 square feet to capitalize on the expansive vistas of Great Pond on Martha’s Vineyard. The main residence boasts a spacious and open floor plan, featuring an entry hall, a spacious living room with a fireplace, a gourmet kitchen and eat-in area, all of which are characterized by tall ceilings, 8’ high arched doors and windows that overlook the pool, gardens, and waterviews. The expansive first-floor master bedroom wing is complemented by a large office also accessed from the entry. The second floor, houses three additional ensuite bedrooms along with a secondary master bedroom, all equipped with private balconies with breathtaking views.

The 2,000+ square foot two-car carriage and pool house harmoniously integrate with the main house’s architecture and is designed to accommodate two additional bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a sitting room that overlooks the pool below. The in-ground pool, patios, retaining walls, and gardens were meticulously crafted to enhance the beautifully landscaped 5-acre lot.
