Garden Sunroom

Project overview

The design process for this Greek revival sunroom commenced with a thorough evaluation of the space and the client’s specific requirements. Initially, we optimized the addition layout to maximize usability, incorporating a laundry room within the connector. Additionally, we constructed a custom-built cabinetry hutch and installed a high display ledge within the sunroom space. To establish a warm and inviting ambiance within this open space, we utilized travertine tile in a neutral color scheme, complemented by natural materials and textures. The lighting design was meticulously planned to incorporate a combination of ambient, task, and accent lighting, ensuring the space is adequately illuminated and adaptable to various tasks throughout the day. The outcome is a sophisticated and functional sunroom that accommodates both a dining and sitting room, while simultaneously presenting an aesthetically pleasing exterior that harmonizes with the existing residence and enhances the garden from which it is situated.
